BTCCSquare news:

Security researchers have identified a sophisticated phishing campaign targeting users of Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets. Fraudsters are sending physical letters impersonating official support teams, complete with convincing logos and messaging. The goal: trick users into visiting fraudulent websites that steal recovery seed phrases—the private keys granting full control over crypto assets.

This offline approach circumvents traditional email and SMS security filters. Experts warn that sharing seed phrases online, even with seemingly legitimate sources, risks total asset theft. Verification of support contacts through official company channels remains the only SAFE protocol.
